Corona measures will be further relaxed starting July 1. Minister Hugo de Jonge (VWS) talks about this relaxation/scaling down of evening/night/weekend emergency care from child care in his parliamentary letter. ‘I want, also on behalf of the State Secretary of SZW, to express my great thanks for all the work done.’
De Jonge particularly admires the approach of employees in child care and education in recent months. “From the moment elementary schools and child care closed, the child care industry, elementary schools and municipalities worked hard to provide emergency shelter. Pedagogical staff, teachers and municipal officials have worked hard every day with heart to ensure that emergency care was available and of good quality. Therefore, also on behalf of the State Secretary of SSW, I would like to express my great thanks for all the work done. Thanks to the efforts of these professionals, people in crucial sectors and vital processes were able to continue their work and that is of great value.’
