Children also attend child care for more hours, an average of 64.5 hours per month.
We notice this at Kinderopvang Huizen as well. Our groups are increasingly full and our waiting lists longer.
However, due to the tight labor market and lack of sufficient personnel, expansion opportunities are also limited.
Parents notice this mainly because in some cases this prevents a desired placement from being honored.
It is also not always possible to swap days because the groups are full.
