The government called on parents during the Corona crisis during the period when child care was closed (March 16 to May 10, 2020) to continue paying child care fees. Parents entitled to childcare subsidies are reimbursed by the government for their own contribution to childcare costs (up to the maximum hourly rate set by law by the Tax Office).
This fee is calculated and processed by the Social Security Administration. It will automatically disburse this amount around July 8. At the end of June, all parents who are entitled to this reimbursement will receive notice (by mail or in the message box: My Government).
The co-payment in childcare costs above the legally set maximum hourly rate of the Tax Office, you have by now already been paid by Kinderopvang Huizen.
