Rates out-of-school care
Our bso locations are open 52 weeks a year (excluding
national holidays
).
The calculation of hours per day is based on a pass-through of the items below:
- 40 school weeks
For these weeks, care hours are calculated based on the earliest end time of the schools linked to the particular bso location. With the exception of schools with continuous schedules. The calculation of hours is independent of when your child is picked up (all afternoons are calculated until 6:30 p.m.). - 12 vacation weeks
For vacation weeks, 11 hours are charged for a full day (7:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.).

* The calculation of personal hours will be sent as an attachment to the contract.
** This hourly rate includes transportation from school to care and feeding.
Vacation hours credit
Vacation care can be used for vacation hours credit. This is a credit of 12 freely disposable days per fixed day of care, to be scheduled in 11-hour days (132 hours per calendar year). Hours for additional opening days, such as a study day, can also be taken from the vacation hour credit.
Hours not taken will not be refunded at the end of the calendar year and will lapse. If you (partially) terminate the agreement before the end of the year, the free days will be settled. If you have taken too many hours, you will be charged for them.
Vacation care
If you do not have a contract with us, but would like to take care during the vacations, this is possible in 11-hour days.
The hourly rate for this is €9.48 (For bso Belhamels in Eemnes
this rate is €9.99).

Preschool
For anyone who needs to be at work early, we offer preschool from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at a number of bso locations, on some days of the week. The hourly rate for this is €10.62. Childcare allowance
To help defray the cost of child care, the government subsidizes child care through the Child Care Supplement. As a working/student parent(s), you are entitled to a contribution towards the cost. This contribution is income-related.
The maximum hourly rate on which you can apply for child care benefits from the Tax Office is set for 2020 at:
