On Sept. 18, Minister Hugo de Jonge indicated that the rules for admitting cold children in child care and primary education will be equalized. This means that children aged 7 to 12 with a snotty nose may also attend daycare in certain cases. As a result, there is now only one decision tree.

You can use this decision tree to determine whether or not your child from age 0 to grade 8 in elementary school (age 12) with a nasal cold should come to child care. Click here for the new decision tree.
